Over the last 15 years or so I've spent a great deal of time working as a designer for a big network affiliated television station in Washington, DC. Woo hoo!
Before that I worked for an even bigger post-production company and did stuff for HBO, Comedy Central, ESPN, The Discovery Channel, BET, Animal Planet, CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, VH1, Polygram Records and Sony Music to name a very few. I also worked on 3 U.S. Presidential campaigns as a graphic designer and video editor. That was interesting.
I've been taking photographs since I was about 10 years old. Learned how to develop film negatives as a kid and would take over the family bathroom when I needed to---stuffing towels under the door to block out the light while I worked.
Shot my way through a lot of cameras over the years. And by the time I was a teenager I had become enthralled with movies and movie making. I would force my childhood friends to be in little Super 8mm productions and my senior year in high school made a half hour horror film which played for a packed house on Halloween in my home town of Pensacola, Florida. I was about 17 years old.
I still carry cameras around with me. In the last several years I've played around with the RED and Blackmagic Cinema cameras, the GH2, Canon 5D, 7D, and I own a Panasonic Lumix GH4 4K camera.
Below is a small collection of photography, television designs and stills from some of my short films.
